Description
Brew a cup that takes you straight to the mountains of central Puerto Rico. Wepa Coffee is 100% Puerto Rican arabica, single-origin, hand-picked on a fifth-generation family farm in the heart of the Cordillera Central. Each sip carries dark chocolate, cherry, hazelnut and creamy caramel — the kind of cafecito that makes you slow down for it.
How to Brew
Wepa arrives whole bean, so grind it to your method and grind it fresh. For espresso, go fine. For pour-over or drip, a medium grind and a 1:16 coffee-to-water ratio. For French press, coarse, steeped four minutes and plunged slowly. For a traditional Puerto Rican colador, medium-fine, and let the cloth filter do its work — the way abuela has always done it.
Tasting Notes
Single-origin 100% Puerto Rican arabica, grown at 2,000+ feet in the heart of the Cordillera Central and roasted medium-dark, as the bag is marked. Aromas and flavours of dark chocolate, cherry, hazelnut and creamy caramel. Hand-picked for even ripeness, meticulously sorted for size and shape, and packaged whole bean to preserve freshness.
Why You'll Love It
Puerto Rican coffee is one of the most underrated origins in the world, and Wepa is the bag that lets you taste why — a single farm, five generations deep, high in the Cordillera Central. Printed on the back of the bag: grown, hand-picked, roasted and packaged in La Isla del Encanto. Not imported, not blended, not roasted somewhere else and named after the island.
